We had a great experience at Zen Sushi and Sake. We ordered the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks - amazing! We also ordered the chicken teriyaki with noodles and a few rolls. Everything was great but our table raved about the Akami- Blue Fin Tuma Single.

This year I decided to keep my birthday really lowkey and stay in a cabin near Red River Gorge. I was craving sushi but there obviously wasn’t much near us …so my fiancé drove almost an hour to Lexington just so we could try Zen Sushi & Sake…and it was completely worth it!

The food was incredible and our waitress was amazing. I wish I remembered her name but she had beautiful vibrant purple hair and was so sweet and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious!

My only complaint is that I wish some of the nigiri hadn’t been torched, since I personally prefer my fish raw. Other than that, everything was fantastic!! I would absolutely come back and 100% recommend this place!

Adam, our server was the best server I've ever had; very friendly and very cool! The food was excellent! It was the best sushi below the Mason–Dixon line. We ordered 4 rolls and all were fantastic!
